We launched as a management consultancy business in 2007, specialising in the area of large scale organisational change and business transformation. As the business evolved, we recognised the key to unlocking performance in an Organisation was determined by the culture as role modelled by the Senior Leadership Team.

Meet the Team

Melissa Sayer


Melissa is the Managing Partner & Founder of The Performance Hub. Melissa has nearly 20 years business experience, having commenced her career in London in Asset Management, with Colliers International.  Melissa was a member of the Asset Management Department's senior leadership team, which was responsible for managing £7 Billion plus of commercial  property on behalf of clients. Melissa was the Client Director responsible for key corporate clients such as Santander, RBS, Legal & General, Smiths Industries, Wetherspoon PLC, Daimler Chrysler, VUE Cinemas and many others. Melissa led a large team of property   professionals to manage these large property portfolios and service these large scale client contracts.


Melissa has extensive experience of working on complex change leadership projects, company strategic reviews & implementation and extensive leadership and team development projects. She has a unique ability to determine quickly and objectively the  organisational context and match the appropriate coaching and developmental needs to  facilitate real value add.


Melissa partners with organisations to deliver sustainable organisational change and performance through coaching.  Sectors have included blue chip, private sector, public sector and not for profit and social enterprise. Her approach is to work with organisations to develop the internal talent and leadership to enable organisations to deliver on their strategic agenda.  Melissa supports leaders, mangers and teams to improve performance through developing skills, confidence and focus.


Melissa is Adjunct Assistant Professor at Trinity Business School and designed the    Leadership Development Programme for the globally ranked MBA. Melissa leads a team of over 15 world class practicing professionals and executive educators to deliver this programme to an MBA cohort of 100 plus candidates annually between the full-time and  executive MBA classes.


Melissa is currently a DBA candidate at Portsmouth Business School where her research will focus "How does Systemic Team Coaching impact Team Performance and the Organisation?”

Lisa Jacob


Lisa has over 10 years experience as an elite athlete, competing at international level in both hockey and rugby 7s.  She is a positive, self-motivated and mentally tough executive coach, who utilises the principles of high performance sport to enhance the performance of clients in all contexts. Lisa takes this experience, along with a BA in Psychology and Dip. Executive Coaching to partner with organisations to deliver impactful but sustainable performance improvements through coaching.


Lisa's approach is underpinned by the belief that only through stepping outside of our comfort zone can we truly realise our potential. She understands that high performance demands attention to detail most particularly those which have the greatest impact on performance. She uses this ethos to support clients in developing a mindset which enables them to both conceptualise and action new levels of performance.  Lisa delivers impactful Leadership Development programmes such as “Coaching for an Olympian Mindset” and “Leadership: Developing Olympian Resilience”

Colm Murphy


Colm assists leaders and teams in achieving learning, growth and transformation that results in high performance.


Before running his own business Colm was a Director at Symantec, reporting to the SVP of Sales, with responsibility for Sales Enablement of over a thousand sales people across Europe. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and was the Audit Manager for clients in the leisure and manufacturing sectors in Deloitte.


As a coach, Colm is passionate about assisting leaders and their teams to achieve meaningful behaviour changes that drive business results through

focused and engaging coaching interventions.


Colm is a strong advocate of focusing on people’s strengths and passions in

order to help them be truly distinctive and impactful in all aspects of their lives. He uses recognised psychological frameworks in helping clients obtain long    lasting changes.


He is a member of the Smurfit School of Business faculty for their coaching diploma programmes.


Colm is currently a DBA candidate at Portsmouth Business School where his research will focus on "How does Systemic Team Coaching impact Team Performance and the Organisation?"
